The second digital special exhibition we had the opportunity to realize for Deutsche Bundesbank is titled “From Brutus to Brandt – Coins as Testimony to Collective Memory”. It presents eight highlights from the Bundesbank coin collection and shows how major historical events have been preserved in the symbolism of coins.

A Coin Tells More Than Its Minting
The Brutus aureus is not simply displayed – it is placed within its historical moment. An animated painting makes the assassination of Caesar tangible and gives the coin a context that a museum label alone could not provide.

With every scene change, a matching audio contribution starts automatically – a new feature compared with the first exhibition. The result is a rhythm of image, text, and voice that carries the content instead of merely accompanying it.
The Exhibition Remains Accessible.
Digital exhibitions have one advantage over physical ones: they never close. “From Brutus to Brandt” is still accessible today – for school classes, researchers, and interested audiences worldwide. A project that does not end when the last visitor leaves.
